IRIS has begun with its activity in Slovenia in year 1981. At present IRIS’ activities basically comprise agencies (representation) for various products for requirements of human and veterinary medicine, wholesale, sale of products for diverse scientific research institutions, consignment stock and logistics.

IRIS is continuously supplying hospitals, clinics, healthcare centers, institutions for elderlies, healthcare institutions, laboratories, veterinary clinics and farms, faculties and other buyers 3 decades in the row already. IRIS is offering a wide range of products by many leading international and domestic producers.
IRIS is mid-sized supplier in Slovenia, which is able to provide its customers with the best expert technical advising and an effective and safe use of all imported products for use in human and veterinary medicine.

There are currently over 50 employees in the group IRIS. Great efforts have been made to employ only adequately skilled cadres. There is the tendency to continuously invest into their further education and training in accordance with the needs and current legislation.

The company has organized in Slovenia its own transport network and a modern warehouse with the information system e-LOGIS, which is in line with the latest trends in effective quality assurance and traceability of goods.

Strong and growing programs with quality are found to be the greatest opportunities for the company IRIS. Another advantage is a perfect and qualitative expert knowledge, based on a continuous expanding. The company has acquired all necessary verifications for performing its business activities (register of suppliers of medical devices and register of suppliers of in vitro diagnostic medical devices, authorization for distribution of medicines and license to manufacture medicines). All due law amendments and legislative requirements are followed regularly.

All those activities also allow the company to penetrate the market in the republics of former Yugoslavia. The company has currently subsidiaries in CROATIA (in year 2009) and in SERBIA (in year 2010).
